Abstract

ABSTRACT Bilqis Isti Nurmala. 2020. The Analysis of Students’ Motivation on English Blended Learning at Seventh Grade of SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa In Academic Year 2019/2020. IAIN Salatiga, Academic year 2020/2021. A graduating paper. English Education Department. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. State Institute for Islamic Studies of Salatiga. Counselor: Mr. Miftachudin, M.A. The aims of this study are: (1) To find out the profile of students’ motivation on English blended learning at 7th Grade of SMP N 2 Ambarawa, (2) To find out the most dominant factor influencing students’ motivation in English blended learning at 7th Grade of SMP N 2 Ambarawa. This is a qualitative study that investigates the students’ motivation on English blended learning. The samples involve 36 students, and the research data are collected through questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire uses google form . Meanwhile, the interview runs via whatsapp video or voice call. This research concludes that the profile of the students’ motivation in class 7A of SMP 2 Ambarawa is high and positive, and the most dominant factor of students’ motivation on English blended learning is the instrumental factor.
