This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. In analyzing the data, the researcher used several theories such as speech act theory, especially locution, illocution, and perlocution, as well as the type theory of illocution. The object of this illocution research is the reply in the tweet column of BTS (Bangtan Seonyeodan) with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter. This research was conducted to determine the analysis of the illocution type in the reply from the tweet of BTS (Bangtan Seonyeodan) with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter and to find out which type of illocution was the most dominant in the reply from the tweet of BTS (Bangtan Seonyeodan) with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on the BTS (Bangtan Seonyeodan) official Twitter account. (Bangtan Seonyeodan) The results of this study were taken from 30 replies which resulted in 38 sentences for analysis. The results of the analysis are 9 illocution representatives, 11 illocution expressive, and 10 illocution directives.
