Abstract

The writer of this research are; to know the difference of diffrence of boys and girls in mastering pronunciation ability by using songs of the ninth year students of SMP Islam Sudirman Suruh in the academic year of 2016/2017.; and to know the significant difference of diffrence of boys and girls in mastering pronunciation ability by using songs of the ninth year students of SMP Islam Sudirman Suruh in the academic year of 2016/2017.. The writer gives the students pre test before treatment and post test after treatment. The students’ average score of experimental group before treatment is 65.00 and the students’ average of comparing group is 65.38. Then, the result of the ttest above, the pre test shows 0.2 then the result is compared with the ttable with 1% of significant level 57 shows 2.65. After giving different treatment, the students were given post test. The students’ average score of experimental group after treatment is 74.16 and the students’ average score of comparing group is 74.61. Then the result of ttest, the post test shows 0.9. It is compared with the ttable 1 % of significance 57 shows 2.65 Based upon the analysis, it is seen that the result of ttest is greater equal to ttable. It means that there is no different and no significant different of diffrence of boys and girls in mastering pronunciation ability by using songs of the ninth year students of SMP Islam Sudirman Suruh in the academic year of 2016/2017.. After treatment, the students’ score of comparing group is greater equal to experimental group. The ttest score, is also similar ttable. It means that there is no difference and no significant difference of boys and girls in mastering pronunciation ability by using songs of the ninth year students of SMP Islam Sudirman Suruh in the academic year of 2016/2017.
