Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BOPO, CAR and BI Rate on NPF with inflation as a moderating variable in Islamic commercial banks. This study uses a quantitative appROAch, by conducting empirical analysis in research using time series data and annual cross section of Islamic Commercial Banks, starting from 2016 to 2020. The data sources used are from the publication of BPS Reports, Islamic Banking Publication Reports, and OJK SPS. The model used as an analytical tool is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that BOPO and BI Rate had a negative effect on NPF, CAR had a positive effect on NPF and all independent variables had a simultaneous effect on NPF. Based on these results, Islamic Commercial Banks are expected to implement preventive and corrective policies. This policy can be implemented by rigorously analyzing each financing application, implementing warnings and punishments for debtors who lack performance, seeking financing rescue, good management in terms of liquidity, and operational efficiency. Keywords: NPF, Inflation, BI Rate, CAR, BOPO
