Abstract

The background of this research was the law of learning studies of MI Ma’arif Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Noborejo on learning math. One of the reason why the low of students learning result was the lack of method variation that used in the learning process. The problem of this research was: wether the use of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and snake ladder games media can improve the result of learning math 3D shape material. The research used classromm action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consist of four steps. They were planning, action, observation, and reflection by using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and snake ladder games as the media. The subject of this research was the students grade IV MI Ma’arif Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Noborejo. The member of students was 24. The technique of data collection used observation, test and documentation. The result of classroom action research in the precycle was ground 5 students of 24 students or 20,8% from 100% that reached KKM with average 54,7. In the cycle I, there was 10 students of 24 students or 41,6% from 100% that reached KKM with the average 57,9. Next, in the cycle II, there was 20 students of 23 students or 86,9% from 100% that reached KKM with the average 82,4. The conclution of this research was learning by implementing Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and snake ladder games as the media can improve the result of learning with 3D shape material at grade IV MI Ma’arif Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Noborejo Salatiga in the academic year 2017/2018
