Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to describe the implementation of Round Robin and Gallery Walk technique to improve students’ speaking ability for the third-grade students of MTs Miftahul Ulum Ngemplak Mranggen Demak in the academic year 2018/2019, 2) to know how can Round Robin and Gallery Walk technique improve students’ speaking ability of third-grade students of MTs Miftahul Ulum Ngemplak Mranggen Demak in the academic year 2018/2019. The data analysis used base in t-test. There are two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The mean of pre-test is 64.19 while the mean of post-test cycle 1 is 72.25. The mean of post-test of cycle 1 is 72.25 while the mean of post-test of cycle 2 is 75.56. After reflection cycle 2, there was an enhancement of using round robin and gallery walk technique in the procedure text. Finally, the teacher and the researcher stop the cycle because 80.64% of the students have already passed the passing grade.
