Abstract

This research has proposed to know what is the influence of homeschooling for the children growth within 9-13 years in translating English texts.lo know the different translation between the home schooling student and theformal student and to know the way to translate an English texts. In this research,the writer finds that there are several ways used by the chiidren in both. Thebenefit of this research is, the parents can know that there is an alternativeeducation, which is better than the formal institution. it can be called as Homeschooling program that actually offers to the parents who have children and wantto make them to have more competence and creativity. Because home schoolingoffers some new methods that have no given in the formal institution or formaleducation, especially in translating English texts, there arc some signi r1c~nldifferences between students who is following home schooling program andstudents who have never followed it. The research method used in this study isdocumentation and interview. The result of this study is, giving suggestion forparents that there is an alternative education system that actually offers some newinteresting methods in studying. Therefore, it can be reference to the parents tohave wisdom and decide what is the best education program for their children.
