Abstract

The aims of this research are to find out the Teacher Performance towardStudents' English Achievement in Teaching-Learning Process and to find outthe significant Influence of the Teacher Performance toward Students' EnglishAchievement. At last, it also to find out why there is any significant differentInfluences of Teacher Performance toward Students' English Achievement.To find out the Influence of Teacher Performance toward Students'English Achievement, the writer uses questionnaire and observation as datacollection. Based on the findings of the research, there is posotive corelationbetween English teacher performance and student English achievement,because rh is higher than rt (rh is 0, 4439 > rt is 0,279). There is a highinfluence of teacher performance toward student english achievement at thesecond year of SMU Sholihin, Bandongan, Magelang, in the academic year2009/2010.Then it is compared with the figure on the t-table with 1 % of significancein degree of freedom 49 which shows 0,364. We can conclude that thestudents are more motivated in Teaching-Leaming Process by TeacherPerformance.
