Abstract

Teaching English in elementary schoal i' introducing English as the first foreignlanguage ta elementery schaet students in order to be able to communicate simpleEnalish. So the teacner of elementary scbaol should have appropriate method inteaching English . This study is focused on tho met.hod of teaching vocabulary byusins of Dora the Explorer CartOOn Mo,ic «> improve student's vocabulary mMlery.The method of research used in ttiis study is action research. from this study,Researcher could take the conclusion thol there was a signiOcant difll:reoce betweenpre test and post test,The mean of post test is greater than the mean of pre test both incycle I and cycle U. In cycle I is $,6 and cycle Il is 7,6. Both of them ts greater t11on t­rablo with n •31 Is 2, 04. The role of media is very lmponant to increuing achievementvocabulary mMtcry. Therefore, tu help the student! to remember vocabulary andimctlce In leaming languase, So.they will grudy voc..bulary rn()re wy and not boredIn learning language .so.they llJldcrstand and rnemoriz.e the lesson.
