Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Quizlet as learning medium on students’ achievement in vocabulary. There are two research questions: 1) What is the students’ perception of Quizlet as learning medium in vocabulary of SMA KARTIKA III-1BANYU BIRU? 2) How is the influence of Quizlet as learning medium on students’ achievement in vocabulary of SMA KARTIKA III-1BANYU BIRU? The methodology of this research was quantitative research with ex post facto study. The researcher collected data from questionnaire were used to the students’ perception on the use of Quizlet in learning vocabulary and tasted by participants by conducting ANOVA SPSS 16.0 for windows were used to the influence of the students on the use of Quizlet in learning vocabulary. Based on the result of the questionnaire, the researcher found out with three indicators: 1) perceived of usefulness of Quizlet in the strongly agree category (369%), 2) (231%) got good level category for perceived ease to use of Quizlet in learning vocabulary and, 3) (165%) same strongly agree category for attitude toward the use of Quizlet in learning vocabulary. Besides, the influence of Quizlet in learning vocabulary, the result of index try out instrument consist of 15 items were considered valid. The average of student score is F-test (3.473>2.92), it means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is recommended for teacher to use Quizlet on students’ achievement in learning vocabulary, become one way to make student more interest and not boring learning activity.
