Azizah, Bikrotul. 2020. An Analysis of Illocutionary Acts and Perlocutionary Acts on Comments of Fathia Izzati’s Youtube Channel. Graduating Paper of English Education Department of State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Salatiga. Consellor: Norwanto, S.Pd., M.Hum., Ph.D. The objectives of the study were to find out the types of illocutionary acts and perlocutionary effects on comments of Fathia Izzati’s YouTube channel. This research was generally answered two questions as: (1) what are types of illocutionary acts showed on comments of Fathia izzati’s YouTube channel are and (2) what are perlocutionary acts effect toward the illocutionary acts on comments of Fathia Izzati’s YouTube channel. The methodology of this research was descriptive qualitative research method with the source of data from comments of Fathia Izzati’s YouTube channel. The data were transcribed from comments with different account in Fathia Izzati’s YouTube channel. The researcher encoded then reduced the data to analyze efficiently. Finally, the researcher concluded that there were four types of illocutionary act types found in comments of Fathia izzati’s YouTube channel and there were four effects of perlocutionary acts found.
