Abstract

Keywords: Guruku Mr.D YouTube, students learning autonomy, learning vocabulary This study has the objectives of the study to find out the significance correlation between watching Guruku Mr.D YouTube channel towards third semester students of English Education Department learning autonomy in learning vocabulary. The method of this research is quantitative research and it uses questionnaire and test to collect the data from the respondents. The researcher uses 40 students from third semester students of English Education Department and the respondents fill the intruments via Google Form which is shared in the Whatsapp group. The data collection is analyzed using Pearson Product Moment which is calculated using SPSS 25.0 Windows. The calculation based on Pearson Correlation (rxy) is 0.147 which is less than rt 0.3120 and it is in the very weak criterion. The result is there is a positive correlation between watching Guruku Mr.D YouTube channel towards students learning autonomy in learning vocabulary altough the correlation is very weak. Then, the calculation from significant 2-tailed is 0.364 > 0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected so there is no significant correlation between watching Guruku Mr.D YouTube channel toward students learning autonomy in learning vocabulary.
