Abstract

This research focused on teaching principles in English classroom management. It has purposes to find the teaching principles in English classroom management and the applications of English classroom management in the first grade of SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. The research, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative instrument which subjects of this research were two English teachers and seventy respondents of first grade students in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga (Vocational High School 1 Salatiga). Based on the finding the researcher concluded that the teachers used teaching principles in English classroom management of the first grade in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga, there are repetition, media, evaluation, motivation and compliment. Based on the finding the researcher concluded that the teachers applying good classroom management in the first grade of SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga.
