This study used a classroom action research which is conducted to solve the students’ problem in English speaking. The classroom action research was done based on Kemmis and Mc Taggart’s (2010) concept. The writer did two cycles in which each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The data were gathered through qualitative and quantitativedata. The qualitative data were obtained by analyzing the interview, observation and questionnaire. Then, quantitative data were obtained from the students speaking score of pre-test and post-test.The findings of this study show that the implementation of Think-Pair-Share was successful since the criteria of success were achieved. The first criterion was 75% of students could pass the target score ≥70.0 based on the KKM. The findings show that 78% of students had already achieved the target score in the second cycle. Besides, the second criterion was the students who become more active involved in teaching learning process.
