Abstract

The Aim of this research is to what extend does "a psycholinguistics ofinteractional adjustments on second grade students at SMP N 1 Bringin academicyear 201112012"The methodology of the study is qualitative research, where the writer as anobserver in teaching learning process. The objectives of the study are find kind ofinteractional adjustments, how are the interactional adjustments between teacherto students and students to students, and is interactional adjustments effective insecond language learning process.The finding shows that (1) kind of the interactional adjustments found arerepetition, recast, comprehension check, confirmation check, and clarificationrequest (2) interactional adjustments used by teacher and students have samepattern, but the students often use repetition (3) interactioal adjustments iseffective in second language learning process.
